Rental Terms & Conditions
These Rental Terms: Conditions outline the responsibilities, policies, and expectations agreed upon by the Client and Beyond the Throne. By signing the associated rental contract, the Client acknowledges and agrees to all terms stated below.
1. Responsibility Liability
The Client is fully responsible for all rented items from the time of delivery until they are picked up by Beyond the Throne staff.
This includes any damages, theft, loss, or destruction resulting from misuse, neglect, guest interference, or environmental hazards (e.g., weather or venue damage).
If an attendant is present (e.g., for a mirror booth), their role is to assist with basic operation and customer experience only. The Client is still responsible for the condition and safe environment of all equipment.
2. Billing Responsibility
The individual listed under the billing address or the person who signs the rental contract accepts full financial responsibility for all terms in this agreement.
This includes payment for any damages, lost or stolen items, or additional fees resulting from a breach of these terms.
A designated representative may be authorized to sign for delivery on behalf of the Client; however, this does not relieve the Client or billing party of any responsibility.
3. Damage, Cleaning Replacement Costs
The Client agrees to pay for any damage to rented items beyond normal wear and tear.
Charges may include full replacement value and/or cleaning or repair costs as determined by Beyond the Throne.
Stains from inks, dyes, paints, candles, glues, or any permanent substances will incur additional cleaning or replacement fees.
Excessive messes will result in a minimum $50 cleaning fee.
For highchair rentals:
Only white or light-colored icing is permitted for smash cakes.
No chocolate, red, or dark-colored cakes or frosting.
Client must wipe down chair with a soft damp cloth and water only—no harsh cleaners if spills are noticed.
4. Payment Terms
A 50% non-refundable retainer is required to confirm all bookings.
Remaining balances are due by the specified due date on the invoice, typically 14 days prior to the event.
Events not paid in full by the deadline will be subject to cancellation at Beyond the Throne’s discretion.
5. Security Deposits
A refundable damage deposit is required at the time of booking.
Deposits range from $100–$500, depending on the rental items.
Higher deposits may be required for high-value or easily damaged pieces such as adult throne chairs, the custom highchair, and the photo booth.
For outdoor events, a higher deposit is required, and setup must be on flat, dry, and secure surfaces. No refunds will be provided if setup conditions are not met.
For the photo booth, an attendant will always be present, and our contract outlines client responsibility in the event of misuse or unsafe conditions during the rental period.
Deposits cover damages, loss, excessive mess, or violations of terms.
The deposit is refunded after the event, once all items are inspected and confirmed to be in good condition.
If damages exceed the deposit, the renter is responsible for additional costs.
6. Legal Enforcement Recovery
Should legal action be necessary to recover unpaid fees, damages, or enforce these terms, the Client agrees to pay all related costs including attorney fees, court costs, administrative fees, collection fees, and any investigative services required (e.g., skip tracing or private investigation).
The Client waives the right to dispute the validity of these fees if pursued in court or collections.
7. Delivery Setup
Delivery fees are based on the total value of your rental order and include both drop-off and pickup within 20 miles of our location in Dacula (30019).
Delivery fees typically range from $65 to $140, depending on your order size and distance.
For events located within 10 miles, a delivery fee deduction of up to $15 may be applied.
For locations beyond 20 miles, a mileage fee of $1.25 per additional mile (round trip) will apply, if the location is accepted.
Deliveries do not include setup unless arranged in advance for an additional fee.
Parking must be easily accessible; long walks, stairs, elevators, or venue parking fees may result in additional charges.
The Client agrees to provide accurate delivery instructions, contact information, and safe access to the venue.
Delivery windows are confirmed at the time of contract. If scheduling and customer flexibility allow, earlier delivery may be offered closer to the event date at no extra cost.
If no one is present at the agreed delivery time, Beyond the Throne reserves the right to cancel or charge additional delivery fees.
8. Cancellations Rescheduling
All retainers are non-refundable but fully transferable to a new event date within 1 year of the original booking.
Requests to reschedule must be submitted in writing at least 7 days prior to the event and are subject to availability.
Availability means the new date has not already been booked or blocked out by another client.
If the requested date is available, your retainer will be applied toward the rescheduled event.
Only one reschedule is permitted per booking.
Cancellations made within 7 days of the scheduled event will result in full forfeiture of payment.
9. Photo Use Marketing
Beyond the Throne reserves the right to use any event photos that include its rentals for marketing purposes unless the Client requests otherwise in writing.
